Hello Everybody.
Welcome to my first blog post.
You're welcome in advance.
My name is Troy Williams, and I'm a Junior at UW-Green Bay, Majoring in Communication with double emphasis in Mass Media & Journalism, and Minoring in WGS.
So a little bit about me...
I'm a Libra. Currently in a relationship, looking for a way out, which makes it complicated.
I am an aspiring author, playwright, performer, and professional talker. My dream job would be something that would incorporate all of these things. If it doesn't already exist in some way, I will create it. More than anything, I love to create and have an eagerness to learn, so naturally I am looking forward to this class.
My most recent creations have a been a living, continuous photo-story on Instagram, entitled This is the Boy. It is a look at the ever evolving capacities of one subject.
The other is my new podcast called, Talk(ish). It's a semi-talk show that revolves around discussing and dissecting anything and everything in life... always with a comedic twist.
The links for both projects are posted below if you wanna check them out (or follow *wink*).
Good luck everybody!
Troy
p.s. I am a wallflower at heart

Troy,
ReplyDeleteWonderful introduction, and very cool website! I checked it out and I believe you went to my high school, DPHS! I believe you won the Mr. De Pere show a few years back! (Correct me if I am wrong!)
Your passion for being an author, performer, etc. is very exciting and I hope you are able to find a career to show off all of your talents! In addition, your writing style is very unique and fun to read! I look forward to more posts!
Have a wonderful summer!
Hey Elisabeth,
DeleteThanks for being the first to comment! I sure did go to DPHS, I graduated in 2010, what year did you graduate?
And thank you! That is very kind of you to say. I'll be staying tuned to your blog as well.
Hope the summer, and the class goes well for you!

Proud to be the first comment! I graduated in 2013 from DPHS! I definitely saw your Womanizer routine and thought it was the greatest performance to this day! You should never get rid of that sash! It was very impressive!
DeleteOnce again, very excited to read more of your work!
Haha, thanks. That is definitely one of my fondest memories from high school, and I totally plan on keeping that sash forever.
DeleteLooking forward to reading more of yours as well!
